Shopping - Limited Edition of 9 Photograph

My aim is to not just capture the everyday often overlooked as we hurry on our way, but to capture it in an unexpected and interesting way. Of course my eye caught the shopper's pink sack, but it was the composition of sack, shopper's clothing down to her tennis shoes against the lovely asphalt surface that make this unexpected, a bit misbehaved. Most important, there's the start of a story here that the viewer gets to finish. The image is printed on baryta slightly-textured archival paper, which gives it the suggestion of a Polaroid with deep, rich colors. A subtitle for this piece is 'an imagined Polaroid' because it feels, to me, as if a person holding a Polaroid just happened to capture this scene whilst strolling down the street. So the borders are designed to reflect the proportions of a Polaroid, as shown in a frame here.THE PRINT IS SOLD UNFRAMED.
