STEVAN SINDjELIC was a Serbian hero who die in betel with Ottoman Empire (Turkish) army 19.05.1809 year on Cegar hill, near a city Nis. When he see to losing the battle, he shot in gunpowder stock and killed a 16000 Osman soldiers, also die around 4000 Serbian soldier. After battle, Ottoman command a built a tower of skulls to scare the Serbs. But in Serbian people this monument is symbol of bravery, Sindjelic is to the Serbs same like Leonidas is to the Spartans. also Chegar battle for Serbia is same importance battle of Thermopylae for Spartans.
