Presently I am again very attracted by black&white photography, and I search my archive for photos I can develop in a new way. Close-ups are quite apt to be produced in that way. So I took a quite new photo of a beach where the water was receding and worked out the structure. I'd love the viewers to puzzle over it to find out what's behind.

Photography has been part of my life since childhood. After many years as a radio journalist and trainer for young journalists in developing countries, and a three year term at the German Cultural Institute in India, I finally turned completely to my destination photography. I focus on digital collages, a kind of 'woven' artwork into which I process my photographs. Some of the artworks contain up to ten layers of different photos which are woven into each other.
