Staten Island Ferry, NYC Taken from a series which looks at passengers and reflections on the Staten Island ferry. The ferry goes to and from Manhattan daily. These images were shot as part of a Magnum Photography workshop. They were exhibited in the Milk Studios, New York. The image was taken while attending the prestigious Magnum photo agency workshop in New York City. The photograph was displayed with others that I shot during the workshop in the. I have made them available as limited edition prints. The documentary series looks at passengers going to and from Manhattan to staten island on the Ferry. This one was taken on one of the evening commuter ferries, showing one sole commuter inside. I love people watching and hiding behind a camera is the best way to do it. Looking through windows and focusing on reflections capturing the contrast of the dark sky and the reflections of in interior. I traveled back and forth several times a day, over the period of the workshop to create this body of work. About the Prints: The photographs are printed on Fine Art Matte Hahnemühle Paper. Image sizes include a small white border for mounting. The Prints are embossed stamped and numbered on the back. All photographs are printed using the Giclee print method. Prints are 100% archival - meaning the colour will not fade. Each photograph is a Limited Edition of 50 Prints. Once the number of copies stated are sold, this photograph will no longer be for sale.
