A huge chandelier still hanging from the ceiling after this church was damaged by an earthquake... An evening driving around checking out possible places to photograph during a trip to Italy, my friend and I were trying to find a way in to this majestic church. It involved climbing an eight feet wall so I decided to wait by the car. After a little while my friend returned and was ecstatic, telling me he found a way in and explaining what he had seen. It was hard for me to grasp and honestly I thought he was exagerating a bit. The next morning we got up early and went back with our gear, hoping we would still get in. And yes, we could. I walked in and I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I had tears in my eyes and was filled with emotion, and my friend was looking at me with an expression on his face that said “I told you ;)”. The thrill of finding unseen places is hard to explain, seeing beauty you never thought you would see, it can get very emotional. Limited edition of 3.
