About The Artwork

1.08.23. Today my husband and I jumped out of bed at 3.15 am because of the wave from the explosion. It went through the whole apartment. I never got a good night's sleep after that... And I'm becoming more and more of a believer in fate. If you are destined to die somewhere and somehow, it will catch you up, no matter where you hide. These thoughts help me to be "relatively" calm and not afraid.… **From my series “Introduction to death”:** Epigraph. When my grandfather died, grandmother told me, "It's not dying that's scary, it's not knowing how those who are alive are doing. Movement helps me to get back to myself and not fall into a deep hole. When my grandmother died, I went to the gym and walked on the treadmill until my calves cramped up. The mental pain came out through the physical. But that doesn't always help. When the war started, it took me a lot longer to start to reclaim myself. I was in a deep freeze for a year. Physical activities help feel my body, recognize it, immerse myself in it. I feel that problems become easily solvable. It's as if there is a support that helps to cope with everything.
