The photo is a free interpretation of what depression is from the outside. My teenage daughter described to me what she felt with depression and we talked and she accepted that I created an image with her that represented what I had understood. The time described by her is the same at any moment of the day. The body's temperature changes as if it were under the effect of changing seasons all in one day. Hair that forms waves represents a brain that changes functioning many times throughout the day. And it comes in waves of sudden joys and unexpected sorrows.
