Carl Jousset was born in France in 197O… He lives in Africa where he found an unlimited inspiration. Very early in his life he had a strong interest for people, culture, discovery, adventure, art, traveling and photography. Carl has travelled to 82 countries, through South America, the Levant, Middle East, Indian Ocean, Asia, India, Sri Lanka, all parts of Africa & numbers of European countries. For the past 30 years until today he follows “his visions” that he concretizes through his cameras. He keeps saying it is spiritual before anything, he usually does not recognize himself as a proper photographer but as someone you transmit something that talks to us emotionally. Continuously capturing the magic of the situation, Carl likes sharing that feeling before anything… He believes in following his intuition more than focusing on technic and always prioritizes his spontaneity to never miss the right situation. As he likes saying “Never betray your inspiration” … and “stay away from a fake world that will keep you closer to your own truth”. He usually edits his work in a very limited edition, never above 7, and sometimes as unique ones like 1/1.
