About The Artwork

VENUS WAITING FOR THE BLUE LUTE PLAYER is my 2017 updated version of Titian's 1570 era painting Venus And The Lute Player. Venus now is fit, more beautiful, tattooed with fractal patterns and floating over a mandala crown-like floor. Both are detached, reclining and oblivious to their environments. This 2017 version is built from digital photos, fractal, flame, pattern and painting software, printed on high gloss aluminum. 30w" x 17h" x 1/2" deep, Venus is ready to hang with attached mounting bracket on the rear.
