About The Artwork

'Willow, Russian Blue, 2014' is from a series of ongoing portraits of animals at home. In this image the kitten peers directly into the camera lens, framed by the muted colours of the sofa and with one ear flicked to the side. Olivia Hemingway's work has been published and exhibited internationally. This work is a limited edition of 25, plus 2 AP. Two additional sizes are available on request also as limited editions. This medium - large piece is edition 1 / 25. It is signed on the back and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The framed piece has a white border within a dark brown handmade wood box frame (dimensions are the image size and the outer frame size is 37 x 27 mm). Framing and mounting is to conservation standard with high visibility reflection control water white glass. Olivia Hemingway lives and works in London and West Yorkshire. Her work often has a strong narrative and focuses on people's lives in everyday surroundings.
