About The Artwork

I developed this image from drawings that I made during a snowy winter walk along the River Thames in London. This part of the Thames has changed much since I did the initial drawings. A bridge now spans this part of the river. The tugboat, pulling its barges under the gaze of St Paul's, works its way downstream through the winter weather. A timeless muted simplicity resonates throughout the print to capture a tranquil moment . I drew and etched the image onto a copper plate and then I individually hand printed each image on my etching press. I use artist-quality inks and the highest quality cotton rag paper. Because each individual print is hand printed from hand inked copper plates, there are very minor variations between each individual print. This makes them all individual works of art. "St. Pauls from the River Thames, after snow" Fine art print Etching Limited edition, SIGNED and NUMBERED The image size is just under 6 inches by 8 inches. The paper size is larger. Printed onto 100% cotton rag paper (300 GSM)
