Who Am I? Blues - Limited Edition 1 of 3 Print

This artwork focuses on identity and the masks we wear portraying the different personalities, archetypes, roles we play depending on who are interacting with.. We behave differently when are the mother, the lover, the business woman the cook, yet each is real and relevant in each situation. I would like the viewers to think which masks they put on their lives, and why?! I like working in printmaking and enjoy mark making and so i built up the faces and masks by layers of different marks. Although the print is black ink on clear transparent acetate, I chose to mount it on a blue mount backing board. Other versions are unmounted and therefore the background colour can be changed or left transparent between 2 sheets of glass.
