About The Artwork

Significance of egg- there are thousands of significance in such image, from Mythology, Science, Philosophy, Cosmology, Astronomy or  the Universe. It can not be defined in a single sentence. It is a philosophy towards the Infinity. I used eggs here as there are many reasons behind it, I can simply say that it is a poem of Infinity or A Poem from  Brancusi's Studio. If I think of science there are many ways or if I think of mythology there are many ways to think from the epic to the prehistoric, even from the historic till the modern,  it is never ending philosophy of creation. In my childhood we often use to visit my Father's official quarter. He was a civil engineer in CPWD, he made lots of bridges, roads and buildings. He worked whole life in Arunachal Pradesh, Eastern  region of Bharat, where I was born. Arunachal  Pradesh is a Himalayan range where the Sun(Arun) first rises in Bharat. Once I had seen more than Twenty eggs underneath of shrub at his quarter, still I am trying to realise the moment what I felt at that time. Also once when I went to my Father's place we had to cross river Brahmaputra, on that way I had seen the beautiful uncountable pebbles near the river bank in the noon, it created a glittery  transparent watery effect which I can't express in words, kind of Miraz... that's why I try to realise the moment what I experienced. There are many stories, I can't express all, but when I visited Brancusi's Studio in 1998 it connected my childhood memories which I have been carrying with me till now. There are many significance I can't Express in words. Ganesh Gohain
