Our mind tends to want to familiarize itself with objects and people, but everything is in constant flux so actually we are seeing new things all the time. The title of this piece refers to this idea. Not striving for continuity implies letting go, unattachment, liberation and peace. The bottom is signed with a pyrograph tool including the year of creation. The sculpture works nicely viewed from waist level up to eye level and beyond. Shoulder level is ideal. The piece is freestanding and will work well on a variety of surfaces.
