About The Artwork

The simple breath we can always return to, A total stop. Amidst the busy streets, The unmoving rest Stays with us always. The Return to Equilibrium No.2, unlike its predecessor, possesses a highly refined and almost minimalist quality. The proportions may remind of a creature, yet the smooth surfaces and thin edges provide a hint of technology or futurism. There is not a clear head or direction of movement, but rather multiple directions of force or pull which give the piece its dynamic energy. The soft curving lines and surfaces and general stance in gravity leads the eye back down to the ground, the resting place and the final stop. -Signed on the bottom with the year of creation -Optimum viewing angles are between chest and eye -Will work well on a variety of bases according to taste -Experimenting with different lighting directions and intensities will be very interesting -Designed for indoor placement only, natural wood surface can be dusted with a soft cloth -Avoid placing near heat sources
