About The Artwork

This sculpture is made of recycled elements, mixed in the creation of this theremin, electric musical instrument; the sound is emitted by a loudspeaker, and the note depends on the distance in front of the eyes of the sculpture. It is tuned in a minor. The interactive sculpture is an echo of the story of the "Nightingale and the Emperor of China", a tale by Andersen. It is driven by an Arduino, the code and the diagram are open source.
