About The Artwork
After a while of use, my artist's palettes tend to get a little naughty and start to snap. The fumes of the acrylic resin of the Indian ink make them a little moody. I then pack two artist's palettes, armor them with aluminum parts and rivet them together. The non-aging, lightfast ink is hand-polished several times. The result is bare, corrosion-resistant aluminum structures. These wonderfully reflect the respective surrounding colors and form dramatic shadows depending on the incidence of light. The integrated hanging system with spacer elements enables simple, effective installation on any wall. The object weighs approx. 1 kg, it is signed with the initials cR on the front and back and also dated on the back.
