Despair - Bronze - 2017 Sculpture

While some might label my sculpture as traditional, or figurative, I see it as emotional capture. The figures I create capture and represent the emotions of a single moment in time. The real people they represent have been used as fodder for social media. Their privacy has been invaded while they were most vulnerable. Their images have been viewed, passed along, and then forgotten. I seek to pay tribute to these forgotten people, to give them the honor and respect they have always deserved.
