Closing a decade of fertileness and exhibitions in Siedlce's Center of Culture and Art, at which he presented over 700 pieces of art, in 2022, he is joining the crew of Saatchi Art, hopeful about presenting and collaborating on international forum. Piotr Goławski by expressing himself with statuary, easel painting and drawing, shows in his works whole gamut of human emotions, spectrum of moods that accompany both the artist and each of us, interpersonal relations are appearing in his art, and finally something that states on life- passion. His art is a deliberate artistic choice, artist himself is conscious of events happening around him, he is aware of worldliness and his life choices which he transforms into art. Piotr Goławski is documating world's affairs and enriches them with emotions that come along them, hoping for leaving his account on times he lives in for next generations. These are times of pandemic, wars, climatic cataclysms, recession... these are times of overestimation... The artist wants to provoke the viewers to see the symbolism and the meaning of his pieces. In respect of reality, he is shaping forms, giving them characteristic individualism- he's ditching realistic form or disputes with it, showing life as distorted and twisted, because life is never really plain. His creations are unique pieces of visual art, that can be called a narrative that's full of liveliness. It's absolutely honest in telling its story. His works are characterized by multitude of subjects and intensity of content. Besides emotions captured in his works, artist is willing to show his moral attitude through his art. Goławski has the ability to transform a regular object by taking it out of day-to-day life and expanding its history. Giving the object compeletly new sense and purpose that it was initially given, he yields it a second life and makes it a piece of art. His outlook on reality surrounding him and his method of describing it is emotional and his curiousity and persistant urge to explore makes his atelier a place full of 'experiements' and unfinished pieces created in different techniques. Coming from the 70s, he grew up introverted, withdrawn, observing the world in the times of transormation of the political system of European Eastern Bloc and, as a young man, actively chasing capitalistic dreams. Living in a transforming Polish reality, he was earning money by 'importing, exporting and transporting'.
