there is one part behind the other
This small sculpture is made fraon steel and wood. It's aleady made some years ago at Dresden where I worked after my studies. I found some steel plates which I used for it. There are two elements with equal forms but different materials, steel and wood. I aranged them one behind the other so they seem to go further. The wooden part first I ' ve treated witrh fire then with whit colour. It's a lovely smart small poetic sculpture.

First I wanted to become a scientist but than I studied fine arts. I'm working as a sculpor and painter but sometimes there are also land-art projects. I'm teaching at a small artschool for young people at Donaueschingen. My artworks seems to be abstract, but there is a inspirition from nature. I'm often on the way observing their colors and shapes Also mathematics and music plays an important role. Sometimes I use wood and stones to make improvised music.
