About The Artwork
Looking at the Moon at night inspired me to create this sculpture. The shape is different every week. I found gibbous Moon most interesting. The viewers can think it's something different. I'll be happy if they find something new in the sculpture. Oak is my favorite wood especially in spring because of its specific smell then.

I was born in Plunge, Lithuania in 1954. In childhood I was fond of carving. In 2007 I was granted a status of Art creator of Lithuania. 2017 Art and culture bonus from Kretinga municipality. I created artworks for churches, by public buildings; gravestone monuments, furniture that looks like sculpture, original wooden dishes etc.
