Golden Flock Sculpture

This installation is made up of 11 hand crafted ceramic swallows. Each one is imprinted with a feather texture and is fixed metallic gold making them a magnificent statement on any wall. Each bird measures between approx 4 - 6 inches (10 - 15 cm) in size, so as arranged in the first image, the group takes up a space approximately 4 ft wide (120cm) Of course, they could be stretched out over a larger area or condensed in a smaller area. As always, nature provides constant inspiration for me and when arranged, this installation looks like a flock in flight. Each one is really easy to hang, using a nail or screw in your wall, and if you'd like to change the angle a little then you can easily do so.
