About The Artwork
Pewter glaze on fired raku clay. My inspiration for this artwork is how the shamans of many cultures throughout history saw the birds as the messengers from higher plains but also nature. I hope and wish that people will get a sense of the majesty of how truly wonderful and powerful birds are the sense of organic, natural state of some of the elements that actually make the work what it is. Earth and Fire.
