Jacquard, woven acrylic yarn, natural sheepskin fur Yarn colours: Royal Blue, Mid Blue, Turquoise, Black and Gold, Orange, White Natural Sheepskin Fur: White The jacquard textile is woven from acrylic yarns using the Stoll knitting machine, the designs are based on a series of hand drawings that have been digitised for Stoll software. This textile was woven as a single piece and will not be recreated, making the ottoman a one-of-a-kind collector's item. The ottoman features a seat made of 100% natural sheepskin deep pile fur. A natural white, this sheepskin is ecologically treated in New Zealand. ‘Ice blink’ is the luminosity of a glaring light near the horizon or on the underside of a cloud, produced by the reflection of light from sea ice. It indicates the presence of light-reflecting ice which may be too far away to see. About: The term “pouffe” is derived from the French word bouffer, meaning to smoke, an onomatopoeic term echoing a diffused softness and the puffed appearance of the furniture. Originating in the 18th-century Ottoman Empire, pouffe chairs, also known as ottomans, were versatile pieces, serving as footrests, extra seating, makeshift coffee tables if paired with a tray, or simply an enigmatic piece of furniture that would create a plushness to the room.
