This is a cast bronze sculpture from a torus (or donut) study. it is essentially a donut with 3 cuts shown on a 7.5" x 7.5" x 4" high solid black granite base. The overall height of the sculpture and base is 21". I am fascinated by the torus shape, spirals and helices. It's inspired by the work of Max Bill. I chose a bronze casting as this would be impossible in stone. I don't have too many words about my art - that is why i sculpt. Otherwise I would be a writer! it feels to me intuitive.
