About The Artwork
This piece is my dark moment. A dive into the deep nature, where there is darkness and a bit of shine where the sun hits the ground. Another of my rococo or vagina shapes. Or just me being in my symmetric mood. The black mirror reflection adds depth to the room where it is displayed. I would hang it close to the sun, to better catch the reflection. But it also works on a dark wall, where sun or a lamp is being close. Layered mdf gives this relief more depth also and it is painted with a textured medium to make it more earthy.

Danish artist and pattern designer. My paintings are hand shaped, CNC cut or laser cut mdf/plywood in my shared studio. Sometimes I add epoxy for the shine and matte look together. I don't think it is hip to be square, so my wall hangings are always shaped.. That can also be handy, since they can fit in different places, like between two close doors. I always add some A5 cards with my pattern design with purchases.
