About The Artwork

The sculpture ISET X was created from bronze, granite and white marble. This is The ninth cast of ten, each cast is treated and finished differently. All sculptures have a different patina and base which ultimately forms an integral part of the ISET figure. ISET X is the last and probably the most difficult of all the sculptures in the ISET edition. The color and the concrete definition of its area which underlines the dynamic character of the whole composition. I wanted the juxtaposition of the two black and white stones to be energetic and strong in color as a symbol of our sensitivity and courage in a sometimes unresponsive society. ISET X for me is elegant and maybe a little avant-garde in color, such an unconventional unique someone.

He was born in Strzelin, Poland in 1981 and grew up in a family with artistic traditions. During his high school days, he created his own compositions and advertising orders. In 2001 he began studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. During his studies, he also participated in the creation and organization of festivals, exhibitions and artistic and multimedia shows. He was a member of the unofficial art group "El Nino". In 2006, he graduated with honors from the sculpture studio of prof. Zbigniew Makarewicz. Inspired by human nature, he creates his works in the spirit of cubism and expressionism, manifested not only in forms, but above all in color. With the help of these three media, he tries to capture and close human feelings in matter and show their mutual interactions through the composition of interacting shapes and solids. In addition to fulfilling himself in contemporary art and sculpture, he also deals with classical sculpture, multimedia, computer graphics and animation.
