About The Artwork

"La belle Epoque" is a special sculpture, made entirely of mana, made of colored sheet metal with acrylic colors and lacquered. The phrase "Belle Époque" was born in France at the end of the 19th century, coming partly from historical reality and partly from a feeling of nostalgia. During that period, inventions and advances in technology and science have been compared to past ages. The sculpture is a tribute to this period of development of European civilization. The work was inspired by finding some old family photos from that wonderful period. The character on the chair is mobile and not connected to the base, so whoever buys the work will find 4 indicative points based on where the legs of the chair will be positioned.
