About The Artwork
Human feet are very complex and are not easy to sculpt and achieve the perfect aesthetic quality. This is my attempt at tackling this part of the human body. This is the sculptural study I produced to model a beautiful athletic male foot. This foot is cast in a special hard plaster - weight is approximately 3kg. Size (with stone base): 39 H x 13 W x 13 cm

In my work I always try to find answers to a series of existential questions like these ones: is there beauty and joy in our lives, why do we enjoy living if the strongest memories we have got are our negative experiences, what is the meaning of life? I see human life as a sequence of emotional states that we can barely comprehend and make sense of them, drifting from point A (birth) to our final destination - point B (death), which is waiting for us just around the corner. Emotions and experiences in their purest forms are my subjects of interest, which I try to express through abstracted figures.
