About The Artwork
Having horses in my life has been a main inspiration . They are graceful, beautiful, athletic and sometimes climbs! Mares are usually such devoted mothers and they have a tremendous bond. I want folks to see how the mare and foal are bonded. Old 14 gauge baling wire from hay bales is a wonderful and manageable medium to create sculptures with. And so appropriate when the subject matter is why we have old baling wire!
