,My sculpture Dress is supposed to raffigure an Origami dress, folding the stone like a sheet of paper.in form of an traditional origami figure. By sculpting some texture on the stone, I want to evoke the impression of stone transforming to paper , paper to fabbric, creating a material metamorfosis. My interest is to give to a from nature given heavy material as stone lightness and levity due to a playful abstraction of formal language this sculpture resembles a childs dress, the texture similar to a embroidery San gallo, chiseld by hand on the stone, evokes simbollically. the fragility and purity of childhood, the attribut of high heel shoes, too big in proportion to the fragility of the dress is an illusion to a state of transformation of the pure to the mature.
