The Place of Refuge on the Big Island of Hawaii is a sacred area. It was a place where one could gain their freedom from acts that the ruling party thought were dangerous to the population. This cold cast bronze is a limited edition, made by hand, relief. The relief is suitable for either hanging on a wall or resting on a small desk easel.
