Primavera nera/Black spring Sculpture

"Primavera Nera" is a sculptural collage realized with dead roses, wax and various paints on canvas. The spring twilight evoked a poem together with the idea of the artwork. BLACK SPRING There is an early spring. It is not a premature spring and it does not fit into any calendar, it does not melt the ice but touches it with a breath of tenderness to remind you that no winter lasts forever. It doesn't speak with colors it does not bring life it breathes without the boundaries of forms defined. It emanates a different twilight and flows fading into the density of night. This is my spring, a certain promise that the real one is coming. I call my sculptural collages "raw painting", as they are created through sculpturing the used materials directly with my hands (without any help of brushes or any other kind of specific tools). The idea behind thus kind of work is to unify different disciplines underlining the meaning through the strong visual impact and the "raw" approach to the materials than to the techniques in itself. The wall sculpture comes together with the poem printed on parchment and signed. To express their best my sculptural collages need side or up/down illumination, not direct.
