About The Artwork

River of Gold (large) forms part of a triptych which was made and shown for the first time at London Art Fair in 2018. The piece is made from nickel and gold plated copper. The idea of the "River of Gold" series is that individual sculptures can inter-lock or overlap with other pieces making a larger wall-based installation. As the work is modular it can be scaled up by continuing the river of gold into another circle/sculpture. The dream is to tile multiple sculptures along a wall, taking off in different directions but having a long river of gold running throughout the installation.
