The amazing curves of the plum root laid the foundation for the plasticity of the human body, embodied in this work. Plasticity of passion of movements, possible only in dance. For its expression, neither the gender of the dancer, nor his clothing or anything else is important. Even following the anatomy of the body is not important. This work is the embodiment of the power of dance, expressed through the movements of the human body. The wood was dried for 5 years, fired and brushed with a brass brush, after which it acquired a deep brown color. For greater expressiveness, the sculpture is coated with yacht varnish, which is especially resistant to changes in humidity. The strong varnish shine emphasized the unusual texture of the wood, while at the same time summarizing the shape. The stand is made of a piece of beech. Chainsaw marks are left on the surface to leave these imprints of power flowing into the passion of the dance. The stand is coated with high-quality acrylic varnish to prevent exposure to dirt. The sculpture is dismountable. The dancer's figure stands on a metal pin firmly fixed in the stand. Both the figure and the stand can be washed with warm water and soap.
