The Magic Nest Sculpture

The majestic, raw and mystical qualities of the Crow inspired me to make this Artwork. I wanted to capture its magical but sometimes unsettling quality’s. Its Nests are large and always full of wonder, I have made a collection of hatched, hand dyed paper eggs, out of newsprint and gold leaf to represent the wonder and slight anxiety of what has been released. The nest is a weave of thick un impregnable wire, it stands on a large crow foot with long gripping claws. It is displayed on a simple wooden plinth – but I will send without the plinth due to postage. I recommend you use carpet nails and a small hammer to secure to a plinth of choice.
