This sculpture is called the "Wise Man." I started this sculpture in wax as part of my Moroccan series back in 1999-2000. I didn't finish it until 2014, so many things had changed in that time, even the topic of the sculpture.... which had started out as a beggar, primarily because I was concerned about poverty and the position of the poor in Morocco.
