I would like to present my art work, the wolfman, It is inspired in the goth novels about werwolfs and, especially in the benicio del toro´s film, "the wolfman". The work consists of a bust of polychrome cooked clay on a baseof wood. It represents a lycanthrope or werewolf, sprinkled with the blood of his victim, howling at the moon. When talking about bust, it is understood that it is a round lump that, lacking any protrusion in its composition, it could be said that it is a block. The monster's open jaws, as well as the blood that flows from them, endow the figure with a certain discomfort or rejection by the viewer, although in his glassy eyes, you can still Observe a glimpse of humanity.

I was born in Córdoba in 1984, where I currently reside. In my childhood, I was interested in drawing and used to draw every night and every day. Later, when I grew up a little, I discovered Gothic literature. I was fascinated by the writings of monsters, ghosts, and vampires. Polidori, Mary Shelley, Lord Byron, Edgar Allan Poe, Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer, all accompanied me in my adolescence. Today, I do sculpture after several years of study at the art schools of Córdoba, Mateo Inurria, and Dionisio Ortiz, both great schools where I studied modeling, wood and stone carving, molds, and furniture design. Then I studied bronze casting at the free school of plastic arts in Priego de Córdoba. I love sculpture, but it’s not the only thing I do. I also draw and paint, and I also like to write stories and poetry. I like to consider myself a multidisciplinary artist. My art is imbued with symbolist artists and Gothic culture. The style I make is neosymbolist, but I also love hyperrealistic sculpture, so sometimes I do what I call symbolic hyperrealism. I hope you love my art as I love art.
