About The Artwork
Viken is a unique organic form hand-carved in Bardiglio Alabaster from Volterra, Italy, by Marko. It represents an ancient axe head of the Viking era. It's form also represents the bowl of offering. Marko carved this sculpture in Bardiglio Alabaster as it's natural formation suggests ice and grey water. This piece was carved from an Alabaster boulder in 2017.
