About The Artwork

Cybergods project The modern world is very different from how people lived thousands of years ago. And this world requires new gods. We have new phenomena caused by technology, phenomena that cannot be explained to a person from the past. In the same way as earlier this person could not explain the nature of fire, elements, love and death. MetaMorgosa. Goddess of recycling. Just as our bodies are recycled over time and become part of the earth, and then grass, so everything created by man is subject to reincarnation into new objects. This metamorphosis has always happened and will always happen.

Katy Zinger is a Russian designer of creative looks or wearable art. In she’s works, she uses not only a variety of materials, but also the appearance of a person, turning the model into a character from an alternative reality. Katy was born into a family of esoteric physicists in Uzbekistan. Dad often talked about other worlds, about the multidimensionality of the universe and about traveling through meditation. The difficult political situation split the family, took away childhood, and forced Katy to move first to Russia and then to Portugal. It is obvious that the designer's childhood and his father's love for science fiction and quantum physics influenced the overall style of the works. Until now, books and films about the structure of our universe and its possible incarnations are the designer's favorite subject, and an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Now Katy Zinger works in the style of neo-fururism and cyberfuturism, uses non-traditional materials, which often leads to the birth of new techniques in creating a costume.
