About The Artwork

Inspired and influenced by geometry and form I like to create forms that creates energy, they are forms that exist anywhere, they're fluid and yet they have these geometric shapes so they create a visual openness. We can only see what we look at. To look is an act of choice.

Born in the picturesque city of Tashkent Uzbekistan, Viktor Samandov emerged as a beacon of artistic brilliance, a self-taught prodigy whose journey through the realms of color and canvas would leave an indelible mark on the art world. From an early age, Viktor exhibited an innate connection with the world of imagination. Growing up in a modest family, he found solace in the vibrant tapestry of Tashket cultural heritage. His artistic awakening began with stolen moments in the Hermitage Museum, where the great masters whispered their secrets to his impressionable mind. Despite lacking formal training, Viktor's thirst for knowledge led him to voraciously devour art books and study the works of the Russian avant-garde movement. The streets of his hometown became his classroom, and the city's historical architecture fueled his passion for blending tradition with innovation. Viktor's breakthrough came when he discovered his unique technique of layering colors to create an ethereal glow, reminiscent of the city's twilight skies. His art evolved, incorporating elements of surrealism and abstraction, yet maintaining a distinct Russian flavor that set him apart in the global art scene.
