About The Artwork

As many people know, here in Europe (and especially in Belgium) there are very few wolves left.  The creatures that once ruled this land are being forced into the deepest corners of our forests, hiding from man and his world.  But there is a spark of joy!  In September 2020, the Flemish Environmental Defragmentation Action Program (VAPEO) was launched to prevent road killings that devastated the wolf population.  The plan includes 15 projects along regional roads that will reconnect animal habitats over the next five years.  10 million euros are allocated annually for this.  This will benefit not only wolves, but other animals as well, as well as road safety .. But it seems shortsighted to me, since at the same time there are plans to build more power plants using fossil fuels, that cost millions of euros. Wouldn't it be better to invest in a long-term solution to avoid a climate catastrophe that looms over humanity and animals like the sword of Damocles?  By building these power plants, we doom our descendants to huge financial investments, and incredible efforts to preserve animals or the extinction of certain species forever, not to mention the threat of all life forms on earth. The title of the work "Assembled from parts", as well as the drawing of a wolf in the picture, is intended to encourage people to take measures to save endangered species of animals. The work is two-layer, the first layer is ink, rice paper, gesso and acrylic on synthetic paper, the second is alcohol ink on is artificial glass polyclrbanate, the high quality ink is used with an ultra-stable fixing concentrate, covered with 6 layers of varnish with UV protection, central image Made on rice paper The work is signed on the back and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. Packaged carefully: in cartons, carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and protected with foam.

I am a contemporary artist living in Limburg, Belgium. I was born in Perm, Russia, I loved to paint from an early age, but I discovered painting for myself in adulthood and continue to find satisfaction in it. I have tried many different styles and used several different means to express myself. I am always looking for new sources of inspiration and I understand the special power of fine art and by creating, I hope to attract the viewer to look at the world in a different way. Influenced by this intention, as well as by light and color, I create paintings that speak of contemporary, abstract and imaginative sensibility. Each piece is a multi-layered creation and a fusion of chemical reactions and painting. The complete painting process is a multi-layer process. Because of this, my pieces tend to reflect the warmth and colors of the room they are in. I prefer to write nature in an abstract aspect. In painting, I practice fluid technology, the unpredictability of this technique helps me to achieve inner harmony, and the process of managing this unpredictability is fascinating and intriguing to improve my skill. The main tools are ink and maxmedia on plexiglass and mixed materials on canvas. I consider Art to be one of the main tools in self-knowledge. Artist statement Now I am working on several projects at the same time, they are still in development, and as soon as they are ready, I poesr them here. One of the things that I like about the work of an artist is complete freedom to create your own world of reality, in which there are beautiful girls, magical and mysterious creatures. A forest full of twinkling and mysteries. I reflect them in the series of artworks "Mystical entities" "creatures" and in the series "Fantastic world" I am also intrigued by the possibility of capturing the moment of expressing art inspired by strong emotions of people at one time or another. I reflect this in the new series of works “Overwhelming Emotions” that I have begun. Often my source of inspiration is nature, it's beauty, changeability, wealth, strength, and at the same time fragility and vulnerability. I see the underwater world and its inhabitants as wonderful.. Here you can see abstractions of the underwater world. There is a whole world under the surface of the water, that is hidden from us, which is no less beautiful and amazing in its uniqueness. And here you can also see works in the floral theme.
