About The Artwork
Inspired by the works of one of my favourite artists, MC Escher, this is my version of a newt/salamander making its way through an ink garden full of tiny flowers and creatures, as well as some holes, or are they spheres? This work is currently unframed.

Terri Smith (formerly Kelleher) was born in the USA, but moved to Ireland in 1994 where she currently works as a freelance illustrator/artist. She has been illustrating children's books since 2012 and has illustrated +/- 50 books. In 2014, she received the Kuykendall Image Award for Excellence in Illustration for her work in Nancy Scalabroni's book, "Couga Monga Minga Man." Terri also creates work for exhibition and privately commissioned pieces.
