A man walks barefoot along a forest path under the crimson rays of the setting sun. The spring wind plays its symphony, plucking the leaves of tired trees like strings. The strange creatures that live in this forest follow a person, swimming through the thickets, like ghosts between the walls of an ancient castle. But they don't bother him at all. He continues on his way despite their presence. A slight smile on his face greeted the miracle he had seen with his eyes. The moon replaced the sun on guard. The meadow at the edge of the forest was flooded with a brilliant blue glow. A few more steps on the grass, and now a man is standing facing the door in the middle of the lawn. He looks around and sees that the forest dwellers have lined up behind her not far away. They are curious to see what happens next. A few more seconds, and the door opened. The bright white light that emerged from them dissolved the man in himself. The next moment the door closed and turned into ashes. The forest fell asleep, and the man's eyes opened.

That night I couldn’t sleep for a long time. There was pitch-black darkness outside the window. The silence of the sleeping street raised a shiny revolver above her head, cocked it, and with an ironic smile, aimed a shot into the sky. The gun hung in the air for a moment and then fell to the floor. The start of the uncompromising race has been given. Through the gray curtain left by the combustion of the gunpowder charge, the thoughts in my head exploded in a wild gallop. Each of them, like a stream of colored smoke, flew, rushing to be the first to reach the finish line. In flight, they acquired strange shapes, intertwining with each other. There were no barriers for them. Their finish line was not supposed to be a place at all, they were heading into the early morning, upon which the first rays of the summer sun shone timidly. The canvas standing in the room became a mirror of what was happening. He could no longer remain silent. The time has come!
