Thise character decide to lie on the floor and wait the train to pass over him, in his imagination, that´s why the train is represented in a painting on the wall of his bedroom, then he starts his journey... This piece is part of series Suicide by hand, there are other 9 pieces, that share the same feeling, all these artworks are part of the collection shown in the exibition Chronicle of a journey. We are talking here about a simulated, gestural suicide, we do not talk about physical death but emotional, when you want to end the “being” you have known all your life and want a new one, because you are not that, you want to be a new person, you want to be someone else, a suicide Imaginary that is the gateway to a utopian world, "there is nothing like home," but, what is home, and where is it?
