About The Artwork

This work is a transfer of a photograph I took on the island of Anafi to a mosaic. The harmony of its geometry makes it a loved subject to me. Ceramic tiles create a soft brightness without gloss. Materials: Ceramic tiles, marble tiles, mortar (cement and marble dust), glue, birch plywood (the most suitable wood for mosaic) The mosaic has a hook for hanging and a mosaic frame (No frame needed) It consists of more than 1950 tiles.
