About The Artwork

I make collages from stock images and paint from them; recycling. A single image is comprised of four or more stock images to create a single image. Sections of an image are removed and digitally stitched into a new image. This process is completed numerous times to complete a new original image. Then further embellishments are painted in. I own all the rights to the final image. Edward Hopper is an influence for this work. The painting is about light and suggests the inner psychological life of the figure. I am not religious. So, this is not a religious image.
