Black Birds and the Spring Print

Common black birds are territorial. They love spring gardens. I was drawn to their characters. The winner owns the yard. In this case, a seemingly conversation happened. The patterns on the pot and strong criss-crossed leaves were suggesting power for the local tribal chief. The other bird behind the vase was suggesting " life's not all about worms!". Contrast was not just between birds. It was also played in colour design. Golden and blue suggest the rising sun for the winner. The red line toward the left is the path toward the setting sun, pass the ocean with a green fish as a symbol and toward the image of red blossom bonsai tree on the bottle, suggesting a dancing figure or a fire dragon or a blossom forest, a place to retreat.( if I am allowed!) A bit of "Zin Zen" concept of Asia philosophy . The setting sun will become the rising sun for the next day!
