BROWN RING is a digital construction built from fractal and painting software, printed 1 of 1 on Kodak Endura metallic paper and mounted to the back side of clear plexiglas. Drawing from floral, musical and symmetrical elements, BROWN RING reflects my exploration into science fiction, biology and botany. Presented as a view through a microscope, BROWN RING appears to be a photograph of something unseen - but looks familiar. Anatomical and floral structures abound in this piece. BROWN RING is backed by gatorboard and framed in thin black aluminum. BROWN RING was exhibited in CURIOSITY, an international juried exhibition Feb 2020
