About The Artwork
This work developed from a view of an unclothed model lying, reading in the studio. I've added clothing in order to break the image, allowing me to develop an image as if executed as a collage of fragmented, crushed glass. She inspired a feeling of quiet contemplation, of study, calm and thoughtful, but capable of being lively (hence the stripes!).

Now, in retirement and long out of monastic life, his artistic practice has greatly expanded, including glass sculptures and canvas works in private and public collections worldwide, mostly to commission.
